Objectives The main learning objectives of the Master in Film and Audiovisual Heritage are: - the acquisition of skills in the various areas of management of film and audiovisual collections, from their preservation to their curation - knowledge of the various technologies and practices of the moving image over time and their deterioration, including the new digital formats - the acquisition of skills in preventive conservation measures for audiovisual collections and their cataloguing - the acquisition of critical and analytical skills to enable the restoration of a work through historical, aesthetic and sociocultural research - developing an active, critical and ethical reflection on the concept of ¿restoration¿ and its application in the era of digital technology - the diffusion of audiovisual heritage through multiple national and international actions and programs - the realization of a filmic essay from ¿archival films¿.
