About the university
Lumina – the University of South-East Europe was founded in 2010 as a result of preparations that lasted for nearly three years. The university opened its doors in October 2010, with four approved study programmes. The campus, located in the 2nd district of the capital, is one of the most modern in Romania. The laboratories of the Faculty of Engineering Sciences have latest generation electronic and computing equipment, used in both teaching and research activities. Course and seminar rooms, as well as laboratories are equipped with projectors, have quality furnishings and are connected to the centralized air conditioning system. Each study programme uses at least one multimedia classroom equipped with smart board, allowing teachers to make classes more interactive and more appealing to students. Among the facilities offered on the campus let us mention the restaurant with its own kitchen, a bar, an outdoor patio and a fitness room with changing rooms and showers.
