About the university
Founded in 2002, Université Catholique de Kabgayi (Catholic University of Kabgayi) is a private higher education institution located in the large town of Gitarama (population range of 50,000-249,999 inhabitants), Southern Province. Officially accredited/recognized by the Ministry of Education, Rwanda, Université Catholique de Kabgayi (UCK) is a coeducational higher education institution formally affiliated with the Christian-Catholic religion. Université Catholique de Kabgayi (UCK) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as pre-bachelor degrees (i.e. certificates, diplomas, associate or foundation degrees), bachelor degrees in several areas of study. This 15 years old H.E. institution has a selective admission policy based on students' past academic record and grades. International students are welcome to apply for enrollment. UCK also provides several academic and non-academic facilities and services to students including a library, as well as administrative services.
