Megatrend University

Megatrend University has more than a 33-year-long tradition and is a leading private university in Central and South-East Europe. Namely, the first educational institutions of this University were established in December 1989, making this University a pioneer in the region in terms of the development of education in the field of management, organizational behavior, intercultural management, and related disciplines. The University provides full-time employment for more than 300 people holding a Ph.D. degree in all teaching professions and over 100 people working in administration. Megatrend University is currently attended by more than 20,000 students. The University has modern campuses in Belgrade and other parts of Serbia, occupying a total area of 17,500 square meters. The four pillars of Megatrend University are: 1) expert teachers from the country and abroad; 2) modern textbooks constantly innovated and adjusted to the modern scientific developments; 3) very active international cooperation; 4) ultra-modern space specially designed to meet the highest higher education standards. Today, the University is at its fourth stage of development based on a new concept of “global learning”. This concept allows the students to prepare for a successful career and life in different civilizational, economic, and political environments as well as in a mixture of different cultures. The concept shows that modern and global business is not based on international but on inter-cultural factors. In other words, international management gives way to intercultural management. Megatrend University was accredited in Serbia and Europe through ENQA. The University has won numerous domestic and foreign acknowledgments such as the American Quality Association (AQA) Award - ISO 9001 certification and the European Quality Award, as well as the prestigious Vuk Award for constant contribution to the science and culture in the Republic of Serbia. In autumn 1994, Megatrend University became a full member of the N.E.W.S. Global University Network (North, East, West, South), with universities from all over the world being its members. Furthermore, all University institutions are members of the EAMSA (Euro-Asia Management Studies Association). After years of continuous work in higher education, our University has tens of thousands of active students and graduates on every level of academic and scientific degree programs. Through distinctive teaching methods, we have been creating leaders who make changes in their communities and all around the world. Our University diplomas are, thus, recognized in the whole world, with no validation required, as testified by the graduates with successful careers in the US, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Malta, Scandinavia, etc. The University has won numerous domestic and foreign acknowledgments.
