About the university
Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts (NAFA) is a publicly-funded Singapore polytechnic-level arts and design education institution. The academy operates autonomously through private management with the financial support and government oversight from Singapore’s Ministry of Education and dollar-for-dollar matching for cash donations from the Ministry of Culture, Community and Youth. The institutions also receive government funding for selected undergraduate degree programmes offered in partnership with reputable overseas universities meant for their diploma graduates or other Singaporean Polytechnic diploma graduates.
