Inspirational life-affirming music-making is at the heart of who we are and what we do at the Yong Siew Toh Conservatory of Music, National University of Singapore. Centred in one of the world’s most innovative and dynamic countries, we believe we are uniquely placed to offer today’s world a distinct and powerful contemporary Asian voice. Founded in 2003, the Conservatory has quickly established a reputation as the most exciting international conservatory in Asia and one of the most distinctive in the world. With its focus on nurturing excellence and identity, the Conservatory is primarily an undergraduate institution, offering full financial support (fees, accommodation, stipend) for all of its 220 BMus students thanks to the support of the Yong Loo Lin Trust and other donors. Additionally, there are boutique programmes at Masters level, for Continuing Professional Education and for Singapore’s most talented teenagers (the Young Artist Programme). NUS students are also able to access most class activities as elective components of their degree.
