About the university
The mission of the Technical University in Zvolen is to develop creative scientific research and on its basis to provide higher education at all three levels in Slovak and European research and educational area. The research fulfills its mission the solution of research projects and programs of national and international character particularly in the areas of agricultural and forestry sciences, engineering and technology, environmental science and ecology, engineering, arts, economics and management, protection of persons and integrated security, as well as other relatives and application areas.
