About the university
As a member of the HES-SO higher education network, the Higher School of Social Work in Geneva (HETS-Geneva) delivers university-level training courses based on professional practice, recognized in Europe. It trains the social workers of tomorrow: educators, social workers, socio-cultural animators, and is also the only place for training in psychomotricity in French-speaking Switzerland. It also has a research center, a training center and its own publishing house. HETS-Geneva develops solid partnerships with field actors active in its field and is involved in major debates around current social issues.
