About the university
The University of Education Grisons (PHGR, Italian : Alta scuola Pedagogica dei Grigioni , rätoromanisch : Scola auta as pedagogia dal Grischun ) is a place for the training persons at the stage of primary schools and kindergartens in Chur . The only public Swiss university in the canton is German , Italian and Romansh. The basic pedagogical education for the primary school and the kindergarten takes three years and ends with the Bachelor's degree. The education at the PHGR is highly professional. In the first and third year of the course, students are given practical assignments in school classes at different levels.
