About the university
The HSR Hochschule für Technik Rapperswil is part of the Fachhochschule Ostschweiz (FHO). HSR is active in the fields of technology and information technology as well as architecture, construction and planning. It teaches around 1400 students in the bachelor's programs in Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energies and Environmental Technology, Computer Science, Landscape Architecture, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering and Spatial Planning. At Master's level, the HSR offers the course "Master of Science in Engineering MSE". At the 16 institutes in the area of application-oriented research and development (aF + E) as well as in the service sector, a good 200 employees as well as 70 professors are currently employed. The HSR offers further education events in the fields of technology and information technology as well as architecture, construction and planning. At the center of the offer are the internationally recognized Master of Advanced Studies (MAS) leading to a diploma and protected titles. In addition, further education courses, certificate courses, diploma courses and branch-specific continuing education courses are offered for companies, associations and organizations.
