About the university
With around 2800 students and 650 lecturers, the Zurich University of the Arts is one of the largest art colleges in Europe. The study and research program covers the fields of design, film, fine arts, music, dance, theater, transdisciplinarity and the teaching of the arts and design. The university also has a number of exhibition and performance venues, where the results of the training can be made public. The Zürcher Hochschule der Künste is part of the Zurich University of Applied Sciences (ZFH) and is a state university with its own legal personality.
