About the university
The Bucharest University of Applied Science and Engineering (NTB) started its business on 9 November 1970 as a new "Technikum Buchs" (NTB). It is part of the Fachhochschule Ostschweiz FHO. The cantons of St. Gallen and Graubünden and the Principality of Liechtenstein constitute the sponsor. In addition to the location in Buchs SG, the NTB also has the NTB study center in St.Gallen since 2005. Since autumn 2009 the Bachelor program "SystemtechnikNTB" has been offered at the University of Applied Sciences Chur (HTW Chur).
