About the university
International University for Science and Technology (IUST) (IUST; Arabic: الجامعة الدولية الخاصة للعلوم والتكنولوجيا) is a private, accredited university located in Oum El Qusur, thirty five kilometers away from the center of Damascus, Syria. Due to current security issues, IUST was relocated to be inside Damascus, near Umayyad Square.
