About the university
Surindra Rajabhat University (SRRU) is a higher education institute located in Surin province, the town of elephants, in the North-Eastern of Thailand or Southern-Esan, 400 km. from Bangkok. SRRU was originally developed from Surin Teachers College which was established in 1976, later Surin Rajabhat Institute in 1995 and was extended to Surindra Rajabhat University in June, 2004. SRRU has a main function in providing education and knowledge for the local development, in particular for the needs of the people of Surin, Burirum, Srisaket provinces including the neighbours especially the Cambodia and Lao PDR. In view of that, SRRU offers a broad range of academic programs from certificate of advanced studies and varieties of training courses to undergraduate, post-graduate, doctorate degree.
