About the university
Loei Rajabhat University (LRU) former called Loei Teachers’ College, is a public university under the jurisdiction of the Office of the Commission on Higher Education, Ministry. It was established on September 29, 1973. The university is situated in an area called “Thung Khum Thong” which covers approximately 323 Rai. This campus is on the highway Number 201 Loei - Chiang khan, about 5 kilometers away from downtown. Loei Rajabhat University exists for the main purposes of serving the local needs. It is committed to the development of its provided education. Currently, a wide range of programs are updated to be offered to the community and society at large, such as Associate, Bachelor, Master and Doctorate, which are organized for both fulltime students and part-time students. In addition, the University provides various kinds of academic services and research support for the public. Educational technology is also exploited to support the instruction. The University is confident that it can be true source of all knowledge for life and to operate efficiently as in its philosophy “Higher education to the public, creating efficient local development”.
