About the university
The University of Carthage (UCAR) , founded in 1988, is a Tunisian public training and research institution under the supervision of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. UCAR, through its various institutions, is a multidisciplinary university that delivers 303 diplomas in the various levels of training, namely preparatory courses for Engineering and Aggregation studies, Fundamental Licenses (30) , Licenses applied (45) , Masters of Research (50) , the Professional Masters (47) , the National Diploma of Engineering (30) , National Diplomas Audiovisual (6) and Doctorates (26) . The university has 2,325 permanent research teachers providing training and supervision in the form of research training at the Doctoral School level (8) and a research activity organized within the framework of Laboratories (39) and 'Units (27) . This important potential of human resources is administratively and technically accompanied by a staff of 1373 , between administrators (17%) , engineers and technicians (15%) and workers (48%) . There are 38,000 students enrolled in the various institutions spread over several sites that are deployed in the northeastern region of the country:
