Founded on the 4th of september 2004, the University of Gafsa includes all of the higher education institutions in Gafsa and Tozeur region. Under the auspices of the university, these institutions offer a wide variety of courses and degrees : 33 bachelor’s and 22 master’s degrees. In the academic year 2016-2017,the number of students enrolled in these establishments was more than 9000. the University of Gafsa provides students with academic and professional training in different fields aiming to develop the siklls that are vital in their future careers. The University also has 04 research units ,48 cooperation agreements.
