About the university
Created by the law n ° 86-80 of 9 August 1986 under the name of the University of Monastir, it takes its new name of University of the Center by decree n ° 91-1999 of 31 December 1991: Scientific and pedagogical supervision of institutions located in the governorates of Sousse, Monastir, Kairouan and Mahdia.
