About the university
The Higher Institute of Technological Studies of Tozeur was created by decree 2004-2204 of 14 September 2004. The courses started on 16 September 2004. It is part of a network of institutions. It is the first higher education institution in the region and therefore has a mission and a responsibility to meet the needs of continuing education and open up the horizons for workers.
