About the university
The initial training of the first stage of basic education teachers takes place in higher Institutes for primary School teachers created under the law 90-108 to replace the former Teacher Training Colleges and to fulfil three objectives: 1) The pedagogical training of primary school teachers 2) Taking part in the primary school teachers’continuous training and retraining and organizing for them various cultural and training activities. 3) Carrying out all the duties they are in charge of and this happens under the tutelage authority.
