About the university
The Higher Institute of Applied Biological Sciences of Tunis (ISSBAT) is an institution of higher education and public research forming part of Tunis-El Manar University under the aegis of the Ministry of Higher Education, Scientific Research and Of Technology of Tunisia. It was created by Decree No. 1663 of 4 August 2003. After the formation of three promotions (the last one is June 2008) in the University Diploma in Technology (DUT), the ISSBAT currently provides, under the system LMD and in the field of Sciences and Technologies, a Bachelor's degree in Applied in two Mentions: "Biotechnology" and "Protection of the Environment".
