About the university
Selahaddin Eyyubi University is a foundation university operating in Diyarbakir. The official decision on the establishment of the university was accepted by the TGNA in February 2013. The academic units in the university are Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Faculty of Engineering and Architecture, Faculty of Health Sciences, Social Sciences, Natural Sciences, Institute of Health Sciences and Vocational High School. The university started to buy students in 2014-2015 academic year. The university rector's office is in front of the Diyarbakır bus station and will use the campus behind the bus station from September 2015. On July 23, 2016, the university was closed with the Decree Law on Buying Measures under the State of Emergency (OHAL)
