About the university
Yüksek İhtisas University is a foundation university established in Ankara in 2011 by the Turkish Higher Specialization Hospital Foundation and the Turkish State Hospitals Foundation. The decision on the establishment of the university was published in the official gazette dated 3 March 2011 and numbered 27863. The name of this university was changed from Ankara Bilge University to Yüksek İhtisas University with the Article 11 of Law No. 6495 of 12/7/2013.
