About the university
It was founded in 2010. Erzurum Technical University (ETU) is a Turkish university founded in Erzurum, a prominent city with its historical and cultural richness. Our University is the second higher education institution of Erzurum city which is directly financed by Turkish Government. In Turkey about 200 universities are available, yet just 7 of these universities are technical universities. ETU, one of these technical universities, has targeted to be a world university, well-known for its education quality and scientific research, which is in contact with the society and produces scientific solutions to the problems and contributes to the spreading of information and science to every layer of society by accepting lifelong learning as a basic principle. Erzurum Technical University aims to become a research hub in the region.
