About the university
Our university, which is named after the Prophet of the Plebe Gazi Osman Pasha, was founded on 03.07.1992. The Faculty of Agriculture is affiliated to the Republican University. Gaziosmanpaşa University, which is composed of Science and Literature Faculty, Niksar Vocational School, Tokat Vocational School, Zile Vocational School, Erbaa Institute of Science and Social Sciences Institute, formed its units as a university with the appointment of Rector on 11.11.1992. Teaching language is Turkish. Gaziosmanpaşa University is a university that embraces the economic, social and cultural structure of the region, which is transparent, embraces the public, produces contemporary, dynamic, sharing, participatory, knowledge and technology.
