Gümüşhane University is a university located in Gümüşhane, Turkey. It was established in 2008. Since the foundation of Gümüşhane University, it has started to grow continuously and new faculties, high schools and vocational schools have been opened. Since the day it was established, the Faculty of Theology, Department of Literature, (School of Tourism and Hotel Management, Gumushane Health School has been transformed into faculties as mentioned above), School of Physical Education and Sports, Kelkit Health HMYO, İrfan Can Köse Vocational School, Kurdish Vocational School, Torul Vocational School, Continuous Education Application and Research Center, Organic Agriculture Application and Research Center, Central Research Laboratory Application and Research Center, Medical Plants Traditional Medicines Application and Research Center, Education Technologies Application and Research Center Gumushane University currently has 2 institutes, 7 faculties , 1 High School, 8 Vocational High Schools and 5 Research and Application Centers.
