About the university
For now, the number of universities in our country is approximately 200, 100 of which is state and 84 of which is foundation. At this point, since the number of universities in our country has reached the desired level, the quality and specialization process has been entered in the following period. Then at this point, Konya Food and Agriculture University is also designed as an international research university providing English education in accordance with the new higher education mission and it is the first specialized university in this field adopting the mission of "International University to Transform Information into Product". The students whose average success rating is 25.000 have prefered our university which has started education and training in the academic year 2016-2017 for the first time and it has become the first one in this field. In accordance with the mission of internationalization, bilateral cooperation protocols have already been made in the field of education and research with the world's major universities (Michigan State, Purdue, Davis, Missouri etc.). In accordance with the campus plan, in addition to the existing buildings, our new training and research building which has approximately land of 30.000 m2 at the first stage, is highly equipped and suitable for modern standards will be commissioned in the 2017-2018 academic year.
