About the university
On October 27, 1957, the Chief of Staff of the Egyptian Armed Forces issued an order to establish a scientific military college to supply the army with needed professional engineers. A scientific military college to supply the Egyptian army with needed professional engineers. Graduates of the Military Technical College (MTC) are commissioned as officers in different branches of the Egyptian armed forces.
