About the university
Namangan Engineering and Technology Institute is an outstanding science and art center of the independent Republic of Uzbekistan, and now plays a decent place among the higher educational institutions of Central Asia. The fact that the institute's 45-year history has been practiced not only in Uzbekistan, but also in the whole of Central Asia, and even more extensively, by the glorious reputation of the prestigious geographical cadres of the Tashkent Institute of Textile and Light Industry, Is. The institute was founded in 1968. By the end of the 1960s, there was a great need for a sharp development of the textile and light industry in Namangan and the entire Fergana Valley, with the need to train highly qualified personnel. On the basis of this need, the opening of a large institute was a very important social and cultural event.
