About the university
The National Experimental University Simón Rodríguez or UNESR, is a national university of public character. It has nuclei in different Venezuelan cities. Its main headquarters is located in Caracas. The UNESR was created by presidential decree Nº 1,582, dated January 24, 1974, as an alternative for higher education in Venezuela. Initially, it was proposed to build a curricular development strategy that would allow for the gradual expansion of student enrollment and the design of experimental formulas aimed at exploring ways of solving three essential questions in university problems: Attention to a greater number of students with lower cost indices. Real linkage of the University to production and the labor market. Creation of own and developed sources of income, aimed at achieving a high percentage of funding.
