Established in 1975, University of Aden is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the medium-sized city of Aden (population range of 500,000-1,000,000 inhabitants). Officially accredited and/or recognized by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Yemen, University of Aden is a coeducational higher education institution. University of Aden offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as pre-bachelor degrees (i.e. certificates, diplomas, associate or foundation degrees), bachelor degrees, master degrees in several areas of study.
