The Ph.D. program in World Economics provides a high level of program knowledge in international trade and international economic relations, including other key components in the economy. As an integral part of the program, students carry out research through an independent endeavor that includes formal methods and tools that can be used in the modern economy, resulting in more profound knowledge acquisition. The Ph.D. program is completed with the defense of the dissertation. This activity provides researchers the chance to strengthen their knowledge of economics and to demonstrate their skills by using modern methods and tools of modern economics. The research begins at an early stage which allows articles to be submitted for publication in prestigious scientific journals.
