Jilin University of the Art

Jilin Art Institute was born in 1946 founded the Northeast University Lu Xun Literature and Art Institute. 1948 Northeastern University set up music department, after the Northeast University changed its name to Northeast Normal University, music department to music department. In 1958 in the Northeast Normal University Department of music on the basis of the formation of Jilin Art College. Since then, the succession of the Jilin Provincial Cultural Cadre School, Jilin Province Art School, Jilin Province Song and Dance Theater attached to the music and dance school, Jilin City Art School, Changchun Film Studio affiliated Changchun Film Academy and other five unique art institutions, Formed a variety of artistic talents to cultivate a comprehensive pattern of running a school. 1978 upgraded to university, renamed Jilin Art Institute. In 2000, Jilin Province opera school merged into Jilin Art Institute. The college is located in Changchun City, the city center of the bustling area, with performances, modeling, comprehensive, urban art four campuses, with music school, art college, design college, drama film and television college, dance college, new media college, Art Education Institute, School of Art Management, pop music college, opera college, city art college and other 13 undergraduate teaching units.
