Shanxi Medical University is located in Taiyuan, Shanxi Province, China, a public medical university, the competent department of Shanxi Province Department of Education. Was founded in 1919; in 1932 changed its name to the private Shanxi Sichuan to the medical college, after the incorporation of the National University of Shanxi; 1946 the establishment of the National University of Shanxi School of Medicine; 1953 September, independent school, Changed its name to Shanxi Medical College; in April 1996 to now the school name. The school is also located outside of Taiyuan Fenyang College and Jinci College two affiliated colleges. Because of its campus construction mostly for the early Mao era of Soviet aid (except administrative building) dilapidated, and mountain medical students admitted to the base of graduate students and the proportion of high, Beijing and Shanghai counterparts are difficult to hold a candle, so often "Shanxi Medical University, first class student, second class teacher, inflow of equipment "one said.
