About the university
Guangxi Traffic Vocational and Technical College for the public full-time ordinary higher vocational colleges, the school is the Ministry of education of higher vocational training personnel assessment of outstanding institutions, Guangxi demonstration of higher vocational colleges, Guangxi, the first batch of colleges and universities construction units, Guangxi traffic Transport education and training platform lead unit, Guangxi military officers straight strokes to cultivate institutions. The school was founded in 1958 as the national key secondary school of Guangxi traffic school, in 2002 by the autonomous region people's government approval, upgraded to full-time ordinary higher vocational colleges, and changed its name to Guangxi traffic vocational and technical college. As of December 2014, the school covers an area of 1200 mu, sub-park lake and four pond two campuses, covers an area of 803,200 square meters, teaching administrative space area of 18,100 square meters, teaching and research equipment worth 73.52 million Yuan, there are paper and e-books 1.2 million; with six teaching department, to recruit 58 professional and professional, a high-end application-oriented undergraduate majors; 510 full-time teachers, all kinds of students in school 11909 people.
