About the university
Anqing Medical College was founded in 1943 at the time of Lihuang County (now Jinzhai County ), Anhui Province is the earliest public medical education school. 1945 additional pharmacy professional, open the province of medicine education precedent. In 1952, named " Anhui Anqing health school ". In 2007, the Ministry of Education, Anhui Provincial People's Government approved the " Anhui Anqing Health School " upgraded to "Anqing Medical College."
