About the university
Wenzhou Kenen University is approved by the Chinese Ministry of Education, founded by the University of Kenya and Wenzhou University, founded in China, the introduction of a US university quality teaching resources, with independent legal personality and independent campus of the Sino-foreign cooperative university, is the first Member of the Council of China - Foreign Cooperative University. November 16, 2011, the State Ministry of Education approved the University of Wenzhou and the United States Ken University to prepare for the establishment of Wenzhou Kenen University. March 31, 2014, the State Ministry of Education officially approved the establishment of Wenzhou Kenen University, marking the first Sino-US cooperative university in Zhejiang was formally established. School is located in Wenzhou City, covers an area of more than 3,000 acres, as of 2016, more than 1,600 students. As of September 2016, the school has a total of four secondary colleges, 12 professional.
