About the university
Gansu Vocational and Technical College of Transportation, is approved by the provincial government, the Ministry of Education for the record of the traffic class full-time ordinary higher vocational institutions . College is the predecessor of the Gansu Provincial Transportation School, in April 2003 approved by the provincial government, the original Gansu Provincial Transportation School, Gansu Province, the Ministry of Transportation cadres merged to set up Gansu Vocational and Technical College. As of October 2014, the college covers an area of 258 acres, construction area of 120,000 square meters, 220 million yuan in fixed assets. Library collection of 540,000 copies. There are 7 teaching units and 28 specialties. 246 in-service staff, including "double-type" teachers accounted for 62.3%, 30% of senior titles, full-time students in the book more than 3600 people.
