About the university
Sanming Medical and Polytechnic Vocational College (Sanming Vocational Technical College) is a public full-time comprehensive vocational colleges. It was established in May 2005. In September 2016, the Fujian provincial government approved the name changing to Sanming Medical and Polytechnic Vocational College. After more than 10 years of efforts, the rapid development of the school, won the third in Fujian Province, "Huang Yanpei Vocational Education Award" outstanding school award, the provincial civilized schools, provincial garden units, provincial-level public institutions demonstration units such as the honorary title. Provincial Education Evaluation Institute report in 2015, the Institute of 55 colleges and universities in the province's development potential ranked 13th.
