Tibet Tibetan Medical College was established in September 1989, is a national Ministry of Education approved by the public independent set of Tibetan medicine institutions of higher learning. Tibet Tibetan Medical College, formerly known as the Tibetan Tibetan Medical School (secondary school) and the Tibet University Department of Tibetan medicine, in September 1989 to set up Tibet University Tibetan Medical College, 1993, the State Education Commission approved the independent establishment of drug Wang Shan Tibetan Medical College, 2001 Ministry of Education approved the change was renamed Tibet Tibetan Medical College. According to the January 2016 school official website information shows that the college covers an area of 82133 square meters, construction area of 50127.37 square meters, 59.45 million yuan in fixed assets, teaching and research equipment value of 21 million yuan; with five teaching institutions, Undergraduate professional, three specialist professional; a total of 2235 students in all kinds, teaching staff of 190 people, including 90 full-time teachers.
