About the university
Hunan Urban Construction Vocational and Technical College is located in Xiangtan City, Hunan Province, Hunan Province is the only one set up an independent public full-time construction of higher vocational colleges. School in 1958 was established in Hunan Province Civil Engineering School, in 1972 changed its name to Hunan Province School of Architecture, in 2003, approved by the Hunan Provincial People's Government, Hunan Provincial Construction School and Hunan Province Building Materials Industrial School merged to form Hunan Urban Construction Vocational and Technical College. In 2008, the original Changsha University of workers into the college. 2011 to become Hunan Province model (backbone) vocational colleges. As of December 2015, the school covers an area of 607 acres, with a total construction area of 30.12 million square meters; fixed assets totaled 296.33 million yuan, of which the total value of teaching equipment 60,028,900 yuan; collection of books 63.8 million; Department, 24 vocational students (including the direction); 628 faculty members, full-time students in 10116 students.
