About the university
Taihu University of Wuxi is located in Wuxi City, Jiangsu Province, is approved by the Ministry of Education to establish a full-time, comprehensive, multi-disciplinary undergraduate colleges and universities, Jiangsu Province and Wuxi City, the focus of the construction of undergraduate colleges and universities. School predecessor was established in 2002, Jiangnan University Taihu College. In 2011, the Ministry of Education approved the establishment of an independent cadre of Wuxi Taihu Institute, Jiangsu Province, the first transferred to the private undergraduate colleges and Wuxi City, the first applied undergraduate colleges and universities. [1] According to the February 2016 school official website shows that the school covers an area of 2000 mu, construction area of more than 40 million square meters, more than 20,000 teachers and students in school. The school has five secondary colleges and 35 undergraduate majors. [1]
