Shanxi Traffic Vocational and Technical College is located in Taiyuan, Shanxi Province, Xiao Dian District, Shanxi Province is the only one of the higher vocational level of transport institutions. The school formerly known as the Shanxi Provincial Transportation School, founded in 1958, 2000 approved as a national key secondary school, in 2001 by the provincial government approved upgraded to higher vocational and technical college. As of December 2015, the college has Wusu and Wenhua two campuses, the total area of 808 acres, with a total construction area of 375,000 square meters; Wusu campus is located in Taiyuan Xiaodian District Wusu Village South, covering 307 acres, Construction area of 102,000 square meters; under the six departments and two departments, set up 25 vocational and professional; 286 full-time teachers, full-time students in 7428 people.
