About the university
Chongqing Engineering Vocational and Technical College is a by the Chongqing Municipal People's Government, the Chongqing Municipal Education Commission in charge of full-time ordinary higher vocational schools. College was founded in October 1951, formerly known as the central ministries of the national key secondary school. Trial of Five - year Higher Vocational Education in 1998. March 2001, approved by the Chongqing Municipal People's Government, the Ministry of Education for the record, upgraded to higher vocational and technical institutions. In November 2005, after the assessment of the level of personnel training, the college won the excellent level. 2007 was named the national demonstration of higher vocational colleges. College is located in Jiangjin District, Chongqing, covers an area of 1100 mu, building area of 19.5 million square meters. The campus has a beautiful environment, tree-lined, learning, living and cultural sports facilities.
