About the university
Hunan University of Medicine (Hunan University of Medicine), located in Huaihua City , Hunan Province , is a national public full-time general medical undergraduate institutions , directly under the Hunan Provincial Department of Education , selected excellence doctor education and training program . The school began in 1912, formerly known as the return of the United States overseas Chinese, the famous medical educator, public health scientist Yan Fuqing founded the Changsha Red Cross Care Training Institute, in 1924 the formal establishment of Changsha Renjiang disease school. 2000 upgraded to Huaihua Medical College . May 2014, approved by the Ministry of Education upgraded to Hunan Medical College .
