Chuxiong Pharmaceutical College is located in Yunnan Province, Chuxiong City, the western suburbs, is one of Yunnan Province is a specialist level of ordinary colleges and universities . The school formerly known as the former Shanghai health school , founded in 1950 ( Gengyin years), in 1970 moved to Chuxiong changed its name to Yunnan Chuxiong health school, in 2006 the school upgraded to higher specialist level, changed its name to Chuxiong Medical College. The school is located in the "human birthplace" and "ancient treasure house" reputation in the hinterland of Yunnan - Chuxiong ; as of December 2015, the school covers an area of 452.6 acres, the school building area of 98266 square meters, 78 standard laboratories, 93 multimedia classrooms.
