There are three things that set our experience apart from all the others. An entrepreneurial focus. Economics is the art of analysis and estimation of decision making. Understanding the decisions of small businesses in an uncertain world will help you build confidence in making real world decisions about what to invest in, how to make the right choices, and how to creatively merge resources in new and different ways to enable new opportunities to emerge. A strategic mindset. Business executives and policymakers don't operate in a vacuum. They imagine the decisions of their competitors for resources on their position in a complex world. Our programme teaches fundamentals, whilst encouraging students to look at both the long-run outcomes of strategies and the immediate margins of competition. An international perspective. The world is getting smaller every day. Where once it was reasonable to consider only one's own country or region when making business or policy decisions, in a increasingly fast-paced world of globalisation, it is necessary to consider international angles in order to maximise the chance that one's decisions will have the desired outcome.
