About the university
On September 20, 1973, a group of Salvadoran professionals decided to found a university, in response to the problem of the closure of the University of El Salvador; The first concern of the founders was the name that would lead the institution, since it should transmit a scientific and humanistic message, that did not recognize borders, that spoke of the formation of worthy professionals, deciding thus the name of the nascent University would be " Albert Einstein "and capable of contributing to a better future for El Salvador; After a long period of procedures, began its work on May 16, 1977 in Residence No. 4834 located on Paseo General Escalón (Currently facilities of the Salvadoran Chamber of Construction Industry CASALCO), initially giving three careers: Architecture , Civil Engineering and Industrial Engineering. Responding to the needs of the Salvadoran Society, in 1984 a career in Mechanical Engineering was created; In 1985 the race of Electrical Engineering; In 1991 the career of Business Administration and Environmental Design; In 1992 the courses of Computer Engineering and Licenciatura in Marketing.
