About the university
The IPAG is the heir of a prestigious history. It was founded by the academician Jacques Rueff in 1965. It has not ceased enriching its catalog of training since. Besides its Parisian campus, it has developed in Nice and abroad. The IPAG Business School is the only business school founded by an academician, economist Jacques Rueff. In 1965 he established the Center for Advanced Training of Trade and Industry Managers. He set up the school in a prestigious place: the building once housed the old Society of Geography. It was here that Ferdinand de Lesseps designed the Panama Canal in 1880. In 1969, the school changed its name to the Institute for Preparation for Administration and Management (IPAG). A year later, it is recognized by the State. Since then, it has been constantly developing: its catalog of training courses is constantly growing. Three campuses were created in Nice (1989), Kunming and Riverside (2012).
