About the university
Welcome to the Faculty of Education The Faculty of Education is a young UFR since it was created in September 2013. Inheriting a long tradition in the service of teacher training, it brings together former staff of the IUFM of the Montpellier Academy in the premises History of teacher training colleges. In other words, it pursues its primary mission of initial and in-service teacher training. On the statutory level, this is one of the seventeen teaching components of the new University of Montpellier. It is also a partner of the ESPE-LR for the implementation of the MEEF (teaching, education and training) master's programs designed to prepare students for the " (Predominantly in M1) and vocational training for primary and secondary teachers and CPEs (mainly in M2). The Faculty of Education is headed by an elected council and a director elected by the council.
